A little low or no impact sweating or shaking with barre is a great way to relieve stress, rev your metabolism and give you a boost of energy. Pair an at-home barre workout of 10-30 minutes with this smoothie bowl, and you'll be ready to conquer anything!
Need a follow along free barre YouTube workout? Just google barre workouts! I especially like barre3, Pop Sugar Fitness and Tracey Mallett Booty Barre videos.
Part of the AIP protocol (see last post!) is limited fruit and the less sugar, the better. This smoothie bowl is delicious, but if you hate slightly tart and bitter, omit the cranberries and swap in blueberries.
Tart Cherry Smoothie Bowl
1/3 cup frozen cranberries
1/2 cup frozen tart cherries
optional: 1/2 fresh banana
5-6 ice cubes
1/3 cup frozen spinach
1 cup or more coconut water
1 scoop collagen (especially if you are on the AIP diet)
Mix in a blender and add more coconut water if needed. Pour into a bowl and eat before it melts! My fave single or double smoothie blender is the NutriBullet. It's powerful and fast, and easier than cleaning out our giant one, though a fancier bigger one works just as well!
